How to Enroll yourself as Government Contractor in P.W.D.

This is for newly passed out graduate students in B.E. Civil/D.E.Civil who are looking to take a licence of Govt. Civil Contractorship.

Go to www.mahapwd.com  > Business > E-Registration of Contractor > Register New

There are Four Basic Steps:

  1. Initial Registration
  2. Document Uploading
  3. Document Verification & Appointment
  4. Payment of Registration
1. Initial Registration
In this process you just have to fill up your KYC (Know Your Company)  detailed and true information. Simply, KYC means the form your detailed information. you have to upload your passport size photo and electricity bill for proof of address in that process. Select the Type of Contractor as Unemployed Engineer. After then you have to pay initial registration fee of  Rs. 1000.00 by online payment mode or you can pay it by Net banking as well. Then the user id that is your email id and password will be generated for the further process.

2. Document Uploading
In this Process you have to upload a required documents for the further process. List of Documents is as below.
  • Degree/Diploma Certificate
  • College Leaving Certificate
  • Marksheet of SSC/HSC
  • Marksheet of Final Year Civil Engineering
  • Employment Exchange Card
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Pan Card
  • Affidavit as per format provided in download tab on www.mahapwd.com 
  • Any Other Document.
In case if ant document is Not Applicable, Simply upload a jpeg file written as NOT APPLICABLE on it.
Note that all documents must be uploaded in JPEG format Less than 2Mb 

3.Document Verification & Appointment
After uploading all the documents you have to take the online appointment of the PWD office of your region for the document verification process. After the document verification your case is then forwarded to the higher authority for the approval.

4.Payment of Registration
After the approval you have to wait to get the mail for the online payment. After getting mail you have to pay balance portal fee of Rs 2000.00 and then Registration fee of Rs. 20000.00. Both Payment Receipts will be generated online, you can save or print them later.

After then online Provisional Certificate will be generated once online with digital signature on your PWD login. Make sure that your Printer is ready at that time because it will be generated once a time.
After payment of fees, PWD registration authority gives you digitally signed provisional certificate. The provisional certificate will also available in your login. Please note that Printing of provisional certificate from your login is one time activity. Within 3 months from date of provisional certificate, hard copy of registration certificate is sent by speed post to the address mentioned in your KYC. It is requested to write detail address in KYC.

    1. you just have to visit your concern PWD office to Delete your KYC application, We don't have rights to delete it. They will simply ask you to fill an application form for the delete your KYC. After deleting your old KYC, you can easily access your login ID with your old e-mail ID or can resubmit KYC with same E-mail ID.
